SMS Opt-In Policy

1. Policy Overview

This SMS Opt-In Policy explains how Brisa Jobs collects, documents, and honors recipients’ consent to receive text messages (“SMS”) regarding job application updates, service notifications, and occasional promotional offers.

2. Consent Capture

We now require explicit, affirmative consent immediately before a candidate submits their application. On the final “Submit Application” screen (https://app.brisajobs.com/job-postings/), directly above the button, we display a required checkbox and opt-in language:

[ ] I agree to receive SMS updates from Brisa Jobs about my application status. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

When the user checks that box and clicks Submit Application, we record:

  • Timestamp of form submission
  • IP address (or session identifier)
  • Exact copy of the opt-in statement shown

These records are stored securely and made available to Twilio or regulators upon request.

3. Message Content & Frequency

Allowed Message Types:

  1. Job application status updates
  2. Service notifications (e.g., password resets, account alerts)
  3. Occasional promotional offers related to Brisa Jobs services

 

Frequency: Up to 8 SMS per month, varying with application activity and service needs.

4. Message & Data Rates

Standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Recipients are responsible for any fees assessed by their wireless provider.

5. Opt-Out Mechanisms

Recipients may revoke consent at any time via:

  • Reply STOP
    Text STOP to our sending number. We will send one final confirmation message and then immediately cease all SMS communications.
  • Web Unsubscribe
    Visit https://brisajobs.com/unsubscribe, enter your phone number, and click “Unsubscribe.” You’ll see on-screen confirmation and receive no further SMS.
